Optimization in HVAC Pumping Systems

 

At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate traditional pump selection versus modern pump selection to meet ASHRAE 90.1 requirements
  • Discuss added values that provide cost and energy savings in pumping units with integrated controls
  • Describe how Sensorless pump control works and its advantages
  • List the various ways that integrated pumping systems can contribute toward LEED points earned for a building project.

Matt Berrell of Armstrong Fluid Technology

Our speaker for this month’s luncheon will be Matt Berrell, Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Armstrong Fluid Technology. Matt recently began his career with Armstrong and has a diverse background in HVAC and Construction that spans more than 17 years. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, as well as an MBA from Georgia State University. Professionally, he has experience as a mechanical contractor, commercial real estate developer and as an account executive, most recently for Johnson Controls in Atlanta, GA.
