Topic Description:

This presentation discusses Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology and its application on commercial buildings.  VRF’s popularity in North America has steadily grown over the past decade and the technology has become more flexible and a great fit for more applications.  The presentation will explore that flexibility as well as the energy savings potential of using VRF technology compared to traditional technologies. The presentation will also address the application of VRF technologies alongside dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS).


Speaker Bio: 

James Brackett is a Mechanical Engineer with Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating. James has over 25 years of experience in building services engineering with focuses on HVAC system design, HVAC product application and development, project and program management, and engineering education. He is a seasoned professional with enhanced HVAC knowledge gained from hands-on experience and extensive training at two accredited colleges.
