Due to the DNC, we will have our first meeting of the year on the second Thursday of September. We are also trying something a little different, a dinner meeting.

Control Systems for 

Chilled Water Plants: 

Integrated Plant Automation for Ultra-Efficient Performance

Presentation will review chilled water plant performance, old and new PID control technology, demand-based control strategies and their impact on energy conservation. Discussion of new, integrated control technology - an operating system that optimizes the plant as a system - and state how this technology contributes to enormous energy and cost savings. Discussion on the benefits of integrated control systems and the various ways that integrated controls can contribute towards LEED® points earned for a building project.


Speaker - Eric Hancock - Armstrong

Eric Hancock is a National Sales Manager for Armstrong Pumps, Inc. headquartered in North Tonawanda, New York. Eric manages the Armstrong Solution Provider program within the United States. Eric has over 19 years of experience in the HVAC industry - specifically HVAC control systems. Hancock has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Kent State University. Eric has been a member of the Cleveland, OH ASHRAE chapter since 2002.
